Christmas Holidays Pt.3Third and final part of my christmas-fic. Enjoy!
It was still early when he took a stroll through the narrow alleys of Old Town.
Alright, not so very early but early enough for Jack.
Stealing away without waking Ianto up happened to be a rather difficult task but hey, nothing a Captain Jack Harkness couldn't solve. He had to find what he was looking for soon or Ianto would wake up before his return.
Then he saw it.
There it was, looking just the same way as the day before when he first spotted it.
The entrance framed with green Ivy and various jewelleries on display.
A big grin spread over his face.
Jack, you're brilliant.
Was it daytime again?
Ianto let out a stifled yawn and drowsily stretched his stiff body.
Only then he realized than something was missing.
Ianto groaned, slowly rose from their bed and padded disgruntledly off into the bathroom.
He wondered where Jack had wandered off this time.
Not that he was worried about Jack. He
HangoverHangover. He had a friend famous for that. A dead friend. A two times dead friend. Owen Harper: marvelous medic with a snarky personality.
Hangover. What he was going to get if he could drown his sorrows with hypervodkas. If his immortal, time vortex infused body would let him.
Hangover. Such a good medical treatment. Why didn't doctors prescribe it? Tips the scale between reality and fantasy. Unrivaled bliss
Makes you forget.
Three bottles of hypervodkas lay on the bar counter in front of him. Jack was drunk, or as drunk as any immortal man could get. Drunk, as if it would wash away all the horrors he had done. As if it would heal the pain, make the wrongs right.
The human-looking bartender, probably some man from Sto, slipped him a piece of folded paper. Jack looked up at the slightly bearded man who told him, "It's from the man over there." The bartender walked away and brown hair with a brown pinstriped suit came into view.
Mixed emotions ran through the captain. Anger

Jack climbed up the ladder, through the hatch that led to his living quarters. He ran his hand through his hair, making him look even more dishevelled. The hub was quiet, only the trickling of the water tower and the occasional contented noise from Myfanwy breaking the silence. It was too early for Tosh, Gwen and Owen to be in, but, he thought, checking his watch, it was round about now that Ianto normally came in. He glanced around the hub, checking for signs of life. There was no-one in his direct line of sight, however, he noted, the coffee machine was bubbling away predictably. Ah, he thought to himself, Im not alone after all! He sat down at Owens desk and switched on all the CCTV monitors. And sure enough, there was Ianto in the Tourist Information office they used as a cover.
Ianto, come here for a minute, Jack said into his Bluetooth headset,
Yes sir, came the reply, just a little crackly due to the temperamental signal

Ianto shifted slightly on the small camp bed careful not to wake the sleeping man beside him. Resting on his elbows Ianto looked over Jacks still figure. Had Jack heard everything hed said whilst in the trance? Ianto hoped not, but then again he wanted Jack to understand how he felt. Ianto never liked talking about his feelings and Jack seemed even more adverse to the idea.
You know this is becoming a habit of yours?
Jack opened one eye peering at Ianto and laughing slightly at the surprised, blushing expression on his face.
I Well I thought, um
Sokay I do the same when youre sleeping.
Jack moved forward cupping Iantos cheek and kissing him gently. When Ianto didnt respond to his touch Jack moved back looking at his lovers distracted expression.
Jack shifted so he was now sitting against the wall behind the

The last few weeks had been hell and they'd never found the time to spend some quality time together. The last time had been in fact so far away that he was beginning to believe it never happened.
This was enough.
Both of them were on their limit and that was the reason why Ianto Jones had shoved his boss and lover Captain Jack Harkness after a finished job in Switzerland into a rented car, now driving them through somewhere between no man's land and nowhere... according to Jack.
But inside he was burning with anticipation at the surprise he had prepared for Jack.
Jack on his side was sulking.
Ianto was definitely neglecting him and silently sitting in a car wasn't exactly his piece of cake, especially not when he was sitting on the passenger's seat.
"Iaanto, where are we going?" he whined.
"I think I lost track of the countless times you've already asked me this question, Jack." the young man replied dry

the summer heat lays limp in the city’s lap,
breathing long oppressive breaths.
it does not even lift its lolling head
to bark out hoarse indignancy

there might be heavy rain today,
brought by some swollen, murmuring cloud.
the world will whirl and howl,
then settle down,
to die a little more.
o, quickly, love,
press your back against the wall in fear
as the universe spreads her arms and
shuts her eyes
and starts to summon the end of all things.
come with me
to the place of windows full of speechless afternoon
hot windy whispers of half-formed solutions and resolutions,
sweltering sunlit meadows we’ll wander and then forget.
o quickly, love,
let’s to the season of forgetting
and unwind all of our harshest memories
and fill the universe’s mouth
with mute cotton.
i’ll whisper these words to you some evening
with all my exigency in the hand i rest on your arm—
